Danske Naturister (DN) is a nationwide interest group for all naturists in Denmark. We work for the interests of all naturists and for a greater acceptance and understanding of naturism in general.

We are a young, active and extroverted naturist organization. We do not attach more weight on one form of naturism than on another. All are welcome as members and can take part in the society – and you can take part in our activities, whether you are a member or not. Through our youth organisation – Danske Unge Naturister – we appreciate the needs of the young naturists highly.

Danske Naturister consists of about 1000 members. 9 of these are in the committee and they work for a greater acceptance of naturism in Denmark through coordination and creating new activities in the society. A big crowd of active members works with activities and planning in Danske Naturister. There are 7 regional local societies in DN.

Our activities include:

·          Information, media contact etc.

·          Protection of the interests of the naturists, local and national

·          Membership advantages through co-operation with the most of the established naturist camping sites in Denmark (organized in DNU, see under www.dansknaturistunion.dk)

·          Indoor naturist swimming in 6 swimming baths all over Denmark, during the winter

·          Naturist spas and wellness arrangements

·          Summer camps and other membership arrangements

·          Participation in public cultural events

·          Homepage and debate fora

·          www.strandguide.dk, a guide, which in Danish, English and German informs of more than 100 beaches in Denmark, where there is a tradition for naturism.

DN has – in 2010 – passed a new set of visions, which among others comprise:

To promote information about naturism to the wide population

To strengthen the position of DN in the international naturist co-operation

To promote naturism in the public room, such as

·          Indoor swimming

·          Beach naturism

·          Nature naturism among others in form of hikes in the nature

·          Promotion of environment, nature and climate considerations in naturism

·          Establishment of a naturist camping union for vacant campers

·          Development of the co-operation with Dansk Naturist Union

·          Naturist hikes in DK as well as abroad

·          Further development of our wellness activities

·          Greater and more visible presence on beaches with tradition for nude bathing

·          More naturist sport activities

·          Information and debate activities about naturism and body culture

·          Focus on the active people in DN
